Spectrum Station is currently accepting applications for management trainees for the Kansas City area.

Duties include:

• Provide a positive learning environment that meets the needs of all children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old in accordance to state licensing rules
• Supervise full and part time staff
• Manage income and expeditures
• Lead marketing and manage enrollments to maintain full classrooms
• Develop and implement policies and procedures related to childcare
• Promote the mission & core values of the Spectrum station

Qualifications:

• Preferred two or four-year degree with emphasis in early childhood or related field. Business classes are also helpful.
• Knowledgeable in all local, state, and federal laws relating to childcare
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in child care or a related field
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to work well as a member of a team
