Natalie began her career with early childhood education even before she graduated from Winnetonka High School in 2001. She began working in a childcare center (KinderCare) where she discovered just how much she loved working with children. She worked in a variety of age groups, but found that infants were her favorite. Natalie worked for Jan, our center director, for several months before Jan moved to Spectrum Station.
Natalie is currently attending Maple Woods Community College, where she is working on her Associates Degree in early education.
Miss Amanda E.,
Teacher
Amanda began working at Spectrum Station in late May 2003. She is currently attending Northwest Missouri State University. It is there that she is majoring in art education with a minor in early childhood education. Amanda has worked in day care for three years. She is a swim instructor at the YMCA and still loves babysitting now and then.
Miss Amanda feels that her job as a caregiver is not only influential for the child, but rewarding for her. She says that it is amazing how the children in her care can brighten her day, after day, after day.
Miss Stefanie, Assistant Teacher
Stefanie joined our Spectrum Station team in August of 2004. She is currently attending college at Maple Woods Community College where she is taking prerequisite classes.
Stefanie says she absolutely LOVES kids! She has always done babysitting. Stefanie has several years experience in childcare. She worked at St.

Andresa currently attends UMKC where she majors in Psychology. Her goal is to complete her graduate degree in child psychology.
Andresa joined Spectrum Station in April of 2005 and works afternoons after classes. She enjoys working with children and is eager to learn more about what makes them "tick." Andresa is the oldest of 3 children with an 18 year old brother and 11 year old sister. Her mom and dad have been married over 22 years. Andresa loves sports and really enjoys watching football, baseball, and college basketball (GO UMKC ROOS!) She also enjoys reading and music.
