Infants are our specialty at Spectrum Station. Our infant "suites" are designed to meet the all-important developmental needs of your baby. "Suites" are separated into "non-mobile" and mobile classrooms. This strategy allows each infant the space and flexibility to explore his/her environment as dictated by their developmental level. Infants are only in cribs for napping, spending the remainder of their day engaged in the "business of play." Your child is our number one concern. Each day, teachers will complete a "Daily Information" form to help parents to feel connected and informed about their child's day. This form contains data on feeding, diapering, napping and information about the learning activities which occurred throughout the day. Weekly lesson plans are completed which allow teachers to focus on specific activities which are developmentally appropriate for your child. Parents and teachers work together to establish "personalized care plans" to best meet your baby's individual growth and development. |
