Hooked on Phonics is an award-winning early reader program that provides children three years of age and older with a strong foundation in phonics and reading.  Beginner classes start with a concentrated effort to learn all of the alphabet letters and their phonetic pronunciation.  Children then learn the concept of putting letters together to form words and soon move on to reading stories.  Classes are typically held three times per week and are comprised of small groups of three to four children.  The cost is $50 per month.  Children may sign up at any time throughout the year.

Stretch a child’s rapidly developing mind and body and you begin to prepare him or her for life.  The Gymboree program continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of families and we will always maintain our core belief that playing and learning are inextricably linked.  We want to give you new ways to encourage your child to problem-solve, think creatively, gain self-esteem, and grow to be an independent learner.  We also give you tools to support your child at each stage of development so you can help your child learn.  After all, you are your child’s most important teacher and Gymboree is committed to helping you become the very best parent you can be. 

Happy Feet is a professionally developed child fitness soccer program based on 24 years of youth coaching experience. Happy Feet soccer coaches use stories, songs, nursery rhymes, and fun games to enhance motor skills, teach basic soccer techniques, promote positive self-esteem, improve balance and coordination, and help children develop social skills.

Classes are held weekly at the center. Happy Feet coaches work with children in small groups with similar skill levels. The cost is $30 per month. Additional information can be found at the Activity Station in Spectrum Station.

Learning to dance and move rhythmically offers children a great way to gain coordination and self-confidence.  Children develop poise and the ability to increase their awareness and appreciation of music.  Getting children up and moving has become even more important in a world that has become increasingly sedate.  Dance classes are held once per week; individual times will be posted.  Classes are open to all students ages two and a half years old and up.  All classes are $30 per month.

Our mission is to provide a solid foundation in technology skills and to challenge students of all ages not only to prepare for changes in technology, but to participate in, enjoy, and affect technology!  Classes are for children ages three and up, with Kindergarten Advantage for kindergarteners.
